Joe Cossari

The 2013 Italian elections are important for the future of all overseas Italians. Too many opportunities have been wasted by the previous elected representatives – due to their lack commitment, their lack communication and their lack of interest in the wellbeing of overseas Italians. It's time for change – it's time to Vote for Cossari.

I was Born in Calabria and migrated to Australia in 1956, I was elected to local government in 1977 in the municipality of Maroondah. I currently live in Melbourne, Australia and my passion for local issues drove me to run for Mayor and I was elected to Knox City Council in 2008.

The overseas Italians have been neglected for too long under the previous elected representatives who never consulted with the community.

Joe Cossari

I was the Founder of the Italian Councillors Forum (NIMAC). I was appointed by Minister Ruddock to the East Melbourne Migrant information centre on the 2nd June 2005. During this time, the Presidente of the Italian Republic awarded me the Title of: Cavaliere della Republica Italiana.

I will succeed where the previous elected Australian representative have failed. I will not sit back idly. I will deliver the benefits to our community, I will always communicate and consult with our electorate and will create a positive change for all the Italians I will represent.

It's time for change – Vote Cossari

Yours truly,
Joe Cossari

Cavaliere (Order of Merit of the Italian Republic)
Justice of the Peace
City Councillor
